Timeline of the bottle

Production timeline
This Demi-Sec is a non-vintage: the House's know-how consists in offering a constant style and quality by reaching the perfect balance between the year's wines and a collection of reserve wines kept for this purpose.
Main harvest
Main harvest, about 70% of the blend: a selection from some twenty AOC Champagne villages, vinified plot by plot before blending. Around four years old at release.
Reserve wines
About 30% comes from our reserve wines, the memory of the House. Wines of the three preceding years, sometimes older, kept with care in our cellars. They give the Demi-Sec what no single vintage could give on its own: the depth of time.

Tasting

Tasting
A mouth-watering, expressive champagne built for dessert, where wine sweetness meets fruity aromas in elegant harmony.
Optimal serving temperature
6 to 8 °C (43 to 46 °F)
Colour
Honey gold yellow, with a lively, fine perlage
Nose
With character, open. Ripe yellow fruit first, mirabelle and yellow plum, then acacia honey. Behind it, the brioche and restrained toasted notes of long lees ageing, with a touch of vanilla.
Taste
Expressive attack on ripe yellow and exotic fruits, apricot and mango. Meunier brings the soft, velvet weight; Pinot Noir the directness that carries the sweetness. Brioche through the mid-palate, the 36 g/L dosage held in a precise balance of sugar, acid and a long, rounded finish.

Fine cuisine pairings

Macarons, fruit tart, prawn coco curry with grilled pineapple.
