This Blanc de Blancs is crafted from a blend of Chardonnays sourced from different villages and vintages, aged prior to bottling as a perpetual reserve, also known as a “Solera”.
Solera A reserve of wine kept in stainless steel tanks, from which 25% is drawn each year to form 75% of this Blanc de Blancs. The withdrawn volume is replaced with Chardonnays from the latest vintage. This Solera was initiated in 2016 using a base of the four preceding vintages.
Current vintage wines A selection of Chardonnays from the most recent harvest. Part completes the remaining 25% of the blend, while the rest replenishes the 25% drawn from the Solera.
