This cuvée, born from the perfect balance of the three grape varieties, is an elegant and distinctive wine combining structure, consistency and freshness. This champagne perfectly expresses the full strength of the Gardet style’s dual signature, blending modernity and tradition.

Origin : Premier Cru vineyards from the Montagne de Reims, Marne Valley and Côte des Blancs.

Fermentation & Ageing

In stainless steel tanks

Ageing of reserve wines (25%) for a minimum of 1 year

Aged on lees for an average of 6 years

After disgorgement
Minimum 3 months before shipment

Brut Dosage : 6 g/L
Made from a liqueur based on the same wine and beet sugar

Blending Specificity

Our Brut Réserve is characterized by a distinctive ageing process of the base wines and by the very long cellar ageing subsequently given to the bottles.

Wines of the year An initial blend composed exclusively of wines from the latest harvest is created. Part of it is used to make up 75% of the Brut Réserve, while the remaining portion is sent for ageing in oak foudres.

Oak foudres Made from Allier oak, their capacity ranges from 25 hl to 40 hl and their age varies from 50 to over 100 years for some. The wines from the first blend are aged there for 12 months together with a portion of wines that had already been aged in foudres the previous year. The result forms the remaining 25% of the Brut Réserve.

Optimal serving temperature : between 8 and 10°C

Appearance
Bright honey-gold color.
Nose
Warm and inviting. Vinous character and freshness; pastry and brioche notes, yellow fruits (apricot); hints of caramel and spices.
Palate
Lively and elegant. Aromas of ripe yellow fruits (apricot tart), toasted brioche; notes of fig with a delicate floral and vegetal touch.
Food Pairings

A gastronomic champagne. Roasted poultry; grilled sea bass with summer vegetables; veal chop with cream and mushroom sauce.
